amidst lush greenery and vibrant flora, it was the perfect environment for us to

The day was filled with laughter, games, and team-building activities, helping us
strengthen friendships and make new connections within our batch. Walking among the
towering palms, sharing stories, and capturing moments on camera, we truly immersed
ourselves in nature and each other’s company.

After the success of our first meetup, our Software Engineering
batch of 2022/2023 took things to new heights—literally! On July 29, 2024, we gathered
at the iconic Colombo Lotus Tower, Sri Lanka’s tallest structure, where we were treated
to panoramic views of the city and ocean. The breathtaking scenery from the top brought
a unique sense of awe and excitement that made this meetup truly unforgettable.
Throughout the day, we explored the tower’s levels, capturing countless group photos and
sharing moments we’ll cherish for years. We even added a touch of friendly competition
with some games, creating a lively and spirited atmosphere. Between playing games and
sharing meals, each activity strengthened our bond, bringing us closer together as a
batch. This day at the Lotus Tower was filled with fun, laughter, and incredible views,
making it yet another memorable chapter in our journey together!

batch as we returned to the enchanting Peradeniya Botanical Garden for our third and final
meetup. The garden held as much magic as it did during our first visit, and this time, it
felt even more meaningful as we gathered to celebrate the friendships we’ve nurtured over
these past months.
We spent the day revisiting our favorite spots, engaging in outdoor games that sparked
everyone’s competitive spirit, and sharing countless laughs. A highlight of the day was
our team scavenger hunt, an exciting and interactive challenge that brought out the best
in everyone. Whether it was racing through the gardens in search of clues or cheering each
other on, the hunt created memories that will stay with us long after our university days.
As the sun began to set, we gathered for a final group reflection, filled with gratitude
for the moments we’ve shared and the friendships we’ve built through these meetups. It was
a heartwarming end to our series of gatherings and a perfect farewell to an incredible year
